Self Feeding

Preston has been feeding himself some this week. It has been a lot of fun watching him do this. My sister-in-law got him this cool thing that you can put foods babies can choke on in so that they can eat things that they otherwise could not. It is called Munchems. So far Preston has had Blueberries, Bannanas, Plums, and Necterines in it. It is helping him chew as well. Tonight I let him eat with a spoon and he did very well. In the picture where he has his hands in the air I have been teaching him "SO BIG". Such a big boy he is becoming.

Grandma K came out to visit

Craig's mom came out today with Preston's cousin Emma. Boy did we have an eventful day. We ate dinner together that mom K brought out (veggie pizza and pasta salad). The kiddo's went swimming in Preston's pool, we went to the park for a walk, and played on the playground. When we got back from the park Grandma K took Preston for a walk in his new wagon. We ended our day with a campfire and smores. Thanks for coming out guys.....................................come again:)

Zoo

We took Preston to the Zoo in the cities for the first time this week. He loved it. His favorite animal was the Spider Monkeys. They even came up to the window and looked at Preston. He couldnt keep his eyes off of them. He loved being up high on Daddy's back that way he could see everything we saw.

Happy Father's Day

This is Craig's first official Father's Day and Preston wanted to tell him how much he loves him.

Dear Daddy, I know I may be little but I know that you take care of me in a big way. Thank you for all you do for me. I know you put in a lot of hours at work so that me and mommy can stay home. I love it when you play with me. Thank you for telling me you love me everyday and all the kisses you give me. I love it when you swing me on the swing and bring me outside with you when you work. I get so happy when you come home and don't like it when you have to leave. Thank you for changing all my poopy diapers and for giving me baths. Daddy, your the best daddy a little boy could have and I love you, Preston

Getting back to his happy self..........finally:)

Preston is starting to get better. I knew he must be really sick because he didn't even want our dog Maddie around. He would cry when she came by him. He sure was sick and it was so hard to know how he was feeling sometimes. He would just cry and cry and everything I offered he rejected. I really missed all his smiles and laughs. Today he was feeling better so we got outside and had some fun together.

So sick

I ended up taking Preston in to the doctors today for his cold because I thought it may be more than that. It ended up that he just has the nasty cold that everyone else has been getting. Craig and I agree that this is the hardest part about being a parent. It is so sad to see your little one so sick and there is only so much that you can do for him. I hope none of your little ones get this!!!
I didn't get any sleep last night because I ended up sleeping on the recliner with him so he could be elevated. I watched our two neighbor girls from 6:50-4:30 today as well. Whewwwwwwwwww.................what a day!

Wheel barrel

Preston woke up sick this morning around 5 and let me tell you, it would break your heart to see him and hear him cough. He coughs so hard that it has made him vomit 3 times already. He has a fever and his nose is running. The little lymph node on the back of his neck is swollen as well. I cried this morning when he was coughing. His face gets all red and his eyes start to water. He is riding in the new wheel barrel Craig got today to help take his mind off of it for a little while.

Craig's first bike and now Preston's

Craig just got his very first bike fixed up for Preston when he gets old enough to ride. Isn't it cute? Mom K said that Craig was a little terror on it and I can only imagine that Preston will be too.

Keith you better get Mason one so they can ride together. Wouldn't it be fun if they could race together:)

Time with Daddy

Craig has been putting a ton of 12 hour shifts the last few weeks and it is nice to finally have some time to spend with him. Preston gets really excited when his Daddy can play with him. Aren't they really starting to look alike?

Playing on the grass

Preston and I spent the afternoon outside yesterday. The weather was in the 60's which was nice for a change. Preston loves the feel of the grass so he kept pulling the blanket toward him so he could touch it. He had fun watching Maddie run around and bark at everything.
