First cold

My little baby came down with a cold the other morning. You wouldn't know it however by the way he is acting. He is so happy even with being so stuffed up. I have been doing my best to keep is nose clear and am constantly wiping his eyes.
The other morning he woke up at 6:30 and when I turned on the light his eyes were almost completely closed due to drainage from his eyes and yet he was still laughing and smiling at me. What a sweetheart!!!! If only his dad was this happy when he got sick:) Sorry Craig, I just had to say that.

A walk in the park

This last Monday Preston and I had the chance to get outside and go to a near by park with two of my friends and their babies. Caleb and Connor fell asleep in their strollers but Preston wanted to be out looking around. I set him in the stroller while taking these pictures that is why he isn't happy in them. We had a lot of fun and Preston fell asleep when he got in the car. Caleb and Connor are exactly two months younger that Preston.

Walking the trail

Craig has a trail that he keeps packed down so he can ride his bike around our land. Preston and I went for a walk with him around it the other day when we were having good weather. He loves to look around when we go for walks so the stroller is not one of his favorites right now.

Sleepover

My niece and nephew slept over for the first time since being back from the mountains. They are the first cousins to stay over since Preston has been born. Preston loved spending time with them. They kept him company as I fixed lunch. We watched Star Wars (one of their favorites) and played UNO and went to the park.

Thank you Great Uncle Martin

Great Uncle Martin send Preston a couple gifts yesterday and this is one of them. Grandpa J is going to have to get him a Viking outfit if he wants him to be a Viking fan. He has a little room to grow into this but the rate he is growing he will be outgrowing it before too long. Thank you so much for this adorable outfit and for being so thoughtful.

Busy bee

Preston has become very aware of everything around him and really concentrates on what he does. I think he is going to be our little thinker. Isn't he cute with his new outfit!! This is a 6-9 month outfit. Who makes baby clothes anyways? They don't seem to go along with their ages.

Automatic Sprinkler

This little Onsie is from my sister. This little shirt says it all. Although he has never got me, everytime he takes a bath his sprinkler goes off. Thanks Denise, we love it!!! Too bad it won't be fitting him for long.

Mommy and Me

Mommy and me together that's what I see forever, closer each day, finding out all we can be, it all starts with mommy and me.
I can't get enough of this little guy. Now I know why Grandma's always want to squeeze their cheeks. I squeeze and kiss Preston's every day a million times a day.

Ladybug

This ladybug is actually a book. It is by discovery toys. He got this from our church shower. He likes to eat its big wings because they crinkle. We just hope he won't eat the Asian beatles we always get in the summer/fall that seem to invade our house. He won't get a crinkle rather a stinky tinkle in his mouth.................ewe!!!!

Preston and Caleb

Preston and Caleb spent some time bonding the other day. Preston just takes it all in when he gets together with friends and family. He doesn't say much he just likes to watch everyone. These little guys are exactly 2 months apart.

Look how much I've grown

Yesterday we took Buster in for his 4 month check-up and the doctor was very pleased with his development. He said that he is doing perfect in all areas. He is now 15lbs and is 24 1/2 in. long. He really liked the doctor and kept laughing at
him. He did better with taking the shots this time and didn' cry as much. He did run a fever last night so we had to give him baby medicine. He is a lot better today:) He is now in size 3 diapers and had green beans for the first time the other day and
loved them.

First walk outside

It was such a nice day out today that Grandma K came out and we went for our first stroller walk outside. Buster didnt like being in his snowsuit but he loved the walk and fell asleep. Grandma K brought him an early Easter present of Diapers, onsies and polo shirts. Thank you so very much. We enjoyed having you out here.

Jordan and Josh's visit

My nephews Jordan and Josh came out to our house yesterday to play with Buster. This is actually the first time they held him. He really likes them. He thinks kids his size are just great to watch. He gets really excited when they talk to him.

Rice Cereal take 5

This is about the 5th time now that Buster has had Rice Cereal. I have been making it thicker each time. He really enjoys it and makes noises as if he is telling me "Yummy mommy". I can't wait to see how much he has grown after his appointment this week.

Amanda's visit

My friend Amanda came over for the afternoon to hang out with us. She helped Buster sit on the floor and play with his toys. She also got him to sleep. We had a lot of fun!!!!

Rice Cereal

Our little baby turned 4 months old today and to celebrate we gave him Rice Cereal for the first time. He really enjoyed it as you can see. It was really runny-just 1TBS of rice and 4TBS of mommy milk. He is getting to be such a big boy!! I couldn't help but cry as he sat there eating his first solid.

Thumb sucker

His new thing is to suck his thumb. It helps us a lot when we can't get to him right away, he soothes himself by sucking his thumb or two of his fingers at a time. We think he looks really cute when he does this but hope it won't be hard to break him of it when the time comes.

Their baaaaaack!!!

My sister and her family moved back from the mountains and Buster got to meet his cousin's and his aunt and uncle for the very first time. They bonded right away!! He kept kicking his feet in delight everytime they went passed him. Welcome back guys!!!!
