Swimming

Today Preston and I met my friend Amanda at the pool. It is so hot out today that it was so nice to be in the water. Preston loves it at the pool cuz there are so many kids for him to watch. He doesn't even mind when people run by and splash him in the face. We had to tell one little boy to stop splashing water at us though.........I wonder where his parents were?

Fishing

Today Craig, Preston and I went fishing. It was nearly 90 degrees out but we had a ton of fun. Craig put Preston on his back while I enjoyed the sun. He is getting a little too big for the snugly but Craig did well keeping his balance. I nearly fall over with him on my back. Preston thought it was great being so close to his Daddy all afternoon. Craig caught 7 fish!!! While I was feeding Preston and gettting him to sleep, Craig picked me a beautiful bouquet of flowers.........he is such a romantic husband.

Tent

Tonight we had a bad storm so we were trapped in doors so I made Preston a tent in his room. He is a little young to enjoy it to it's fullest yet but he seemed to have fun rolling around in it and having Maddie run in and out.

Toast

Preston was eating toast for the first time today(it is those Gerber Graduate toast things that get soft as you eat them) and he was really enjoying himself. There's that face again:}

New faces of Preston

Preston just started to make this face a few days ago and has been making it everyday since. It has been giving us a ton of laughs. Hope you enjoy it as much as we are:) P.S. He is getting his 3rd tooth and it is on the top.

Fun things I can do

It seems that Preston discovers something new he can he everyday. He has now discovered where his nose hole is and sticks his finger up there all the time. He knows how to put his hands up when we say UP. I don't have a picture to show but he gives us a high five (it is more like twenty but he is getting the idea). And everyday he is getting closer to crawling. Right now the combat crawl is still his means of transportation. Never a dull moment around our home:)

Visit with Mom/Dad/Denise and Fam

Last night my Mom, Dad and sister and her kids came out to visit. Ok so my sister moved back here from the mountains 5 months ago and we have only spent time together about 5 times. It was so nice to spend time with everyone. Preston showed off his combat crawl and how he talks all the time. Grandpa read with him his favorite book that has things to smell and touch. Preston knows where all the things to touch are...............smart kid huh? Oh and if you can't tell by the picture of my sister.................she is 4 1/2 months pregnant. Yep thats right, she is due with number 4 in December.

Camping

Last night we camped out for the first time with Preston. We pitched tent in our own woods. It was a ton of fun. Craig and I made smores while Preston slept in the tent. It rained while we were sleeping which made for a peaceful sound on top of our tent. We all slept in till 8 o'clock. Maddie just visited us before bed...........she had to sleep in the house. This morning we topped it off with eggs, coffee, and toast.

Baseball game

Tonight we went to our local baseball game. The credit union we bank at gave members free tickets so we decided we would take advantage of it. They gave away little stress ball baseballs too. Preston bee bopped to the music and tried to eat our faces during the game. Preston and I got to get a picture with the mascott for our credit union. Preston thought he was pretty cool. It suprises me that he isn't ever scared of people in costume.

Milestone

Last night before bed Preston was playing with Maddie and he started to do the combat crawl. We had so much fun watching him try to chase after Maddie. Aren't they just the cutiest:)

P.S. There is a chance that Maddie might be pregnant which we are hoping for. For those of you who don't know we have been trying to breed her. We have been praying that she is so we can start selling them.

Fair

The Fair is in town and we didn't get to go on my birthday so we went last night. Preston loved all the people and everytime we ran into someone we knew (which was the whole night long) he tried to grab their food. He is such a good eater. He really enjoyed the cows. Last year we went to the fair when I was pregnant and it is so much nicer to have him on the outside:)

Craig won him a stuffed animal while playing the game where you throw a dart at the balloons. I played the game where they guess your weight, age or your birthday. I had them guess my weight and I wont tell you what the lady guessed but she was 10 pounds off so I won Preston a dolphin.

Jumperoo

Preston got a jumperoo on my birthday from you guessed it.....................Grandma K. As you can see he really enjoys jumping in it. I was putting him to bed that night and Craig came in and got him and put him in it. He was up for an hour and a half past his bed time jumping in it.

First tooth brush

My friend Sarah reminded me that I need to brush Preston's teeth so we went out today and bought him his first toothbrush. It is a Sesame Street one (it was the only one for his age). I think it was tickleing him so he wasn't very crazy about it. He liked playing with it though. I guess it's just for him to get used to the whole brushing your teeth thing. Such a big boy he is becoming:) It's so cute to see his little toothbrush next to ours.

Caleb and Preston

My friend Sarah and her 6 month old Caleb spent the day out at our house yesterday and the boys had so much fun. They wanted each others toys, it was really cute. They didn't want to stop playing for many pictures but we got a few. Sarah just put her 3 week notice in to be a stay at home mom. Preston and I are really excited to be able to spend more time with them. Preston makes a funny bewildered face when we take pictures lately but Caleb was really smiley.

Tub seat

It was time to retire Preston's bathtub and get him in a tub seat. He kept trying to get out of his baby tub to get the toys he would drop. This is a lot safer.

Patio set

Mom K bought me an unbrella seen here for my birthday which is Thursday the 12th and Craig picked up a patio set to put with it. We are going to love sitting on our deck all the more now:)

Pool fun

This was Preston's first time in a big pool. He loved it:) He splashed and kicked and laughed the whole time. I couldn't get Craig to come in with us though, he isn't much of a swimmer:( Preston liked standing in the baby pool a lot too.

Eric and Rachel's wedding

This weekend we traveled to St. Cloud for the most beautiful wedding ever. Eric and Rachel truly had one of the nicest weddings we have ever gone to. I don't think a couple could be happier than they are (well, except me and Craig of course). We were able to get in a slow dance as a family before we had to put Preston down for the night. He had a long day and missed a nap. He might have found his future wife. He is seen below with a girl he met...........Taylor, she is 10 months old. They kept taking each others pacifer out of each others mouth.
