Preston was a Sea Turtle for Halloween. We went Trick or Treating at both Grandparents, Craig's work and the girls dorm at UWEC. Preston, or I should say, Craig and I, got a whole bucket full of candy. Preston enjoyed taking the candy from the people. We got more that way:) Mom and Dad K also got us a Pumpkin pizza..............oh was it tasty.

Playing in the leaves

This weekend we went up to our friends Brad and Sarah's cabin. It was so much fun and we enjoyed playing and jumping in the leaves. Their son Caleb is 2 months younger than Preston. The little guys had fun walking around the cabin with their walkers while Sarah and I relaxed and Craig and Brad went out on the boat fishing. Brad made us all delicious soup when they got back and it hit the spot on such a cold day. We had fun playing Wii in the evening and Preston laughed at Craig playing. Sarah beat me in bowling but I had fun anyways:) We went out for Pizza later and I think Caleb and Preston ate more pizza than we all did.

Radio Flyer Rocket

Yesterday Craig and I took Preston up to the cities and Craig picked out Preston's birthday present. His birthday isn't until the 8th but we thought we would let him play with it early. It's a Radio Flyer Rocket and it has buttons to push that make sounds. We also got him a Leap Frog Karaoke machine and a corn popper all of which we already gave him:) It's a first time parent thing:)

Such a little man

Craig and I are teaching Preston words to say. It has been so fun watching how far he has come. He is only 11 months and can say a handfull of words. We go around the house pointing to things and say what they are. He now points to things too................it's so fun. We only work on a couple at a time and when he has those down we add in some more.

The other day I was pointing to the door and he would try to say it. He then turned around in his highchair and pointed to the clock and said "Clk". That was a word we had worked on the day before. Also last night we were playing with his Ducks and he was saying "Dck" and before he went to bed I was reading him his books and when he saw a duck in his picture book he said" Dck". He is like a little sponge. Being a mom couldnt be any better.
P.S. Like his hair? He got his second haircut today. His hair grows faster than mine.

Daddy's boy

9 times out of 10 Craig will take Preston outside with him on his backpack but this last Sunday is was raining out so Craig went out with out him. Preston started banging on the window and cried, and cried. He didnt understand why his Daddy left him inside. Everytime Craig would get by the deck Preston would see him and start to wave and jump up and down. Then when Craig would walk away again Preston would start banging on the window again and cry. I felt so bad that I bundeled him up and we went out with Daddy after all.

Having fun at the Play Place

Today I took Preston and my daycare boy to the Play Place. They had so much fun as usuall. Preston is so sweaty when we leave from crusin everywhere. It is so much fun meeting new people and seeing what other kids his age are doing.

3. Knows how to make the sound for a Motorcycle

4. Knows how to make the noise for a Dog

5. He has been trying to say the following: Dog, Maddie, Get, and Stop amongst all the others.

6. He has walked 4 steps to date.................yep, thats right..............today he walked 2 more.

Goodbyes are so hard

This is the last picture we had together before we had to say our goodbyes.

Ken, Jen and Tyler we had so much fun with you guys and are so happy that our boys were finally able to meet. We couldn't ask for better friends. You two are such great parents and Tyler is such a doll. We miss you guys already.

Matching coats

Ken and Craig went fishing with the boys while Jen and I went shopping at the nearby outlet mall. We got so much clothes for our boys. The Children's Place had a rack of clothes for .99 I got so many things for Preston for next year. We also got a few clothes for ourselves. I got a Hollister sweatshirt and some jeans.

Tyler and Preston

Preston really liked Tyler and enjoyed being around him and showing him his toys. Tyler would smile and coo when Preston would come by him.

Water play is so much fun......................

Preston cried when we had to leave. We were there for quite awhile but he wanted to stay longer.

Indoor Water Park pics

This was by far one of our favorite highlights at our hotel. There were so many huge slides to go down as well as kids slides that we could take Preston down on. He is defiently a water boy. He couldnt stop smiling. We all went floating down the lazy river and the boys loved the crab floaties that I bought.

Indoor theme park pics

Here we all are at the Mt Olympus Indoor Theme Park. We had a blast. We were almost the only ones there. Off season is the best time to go to these places:)

Packing

Tomorrow we leave for vacation and Preston wanted to help me pack. He could have played in his suitcase all night. I guess he wanted to make sure that we pack him too:) We are going on vacation for the second time now with our wonderful friends Ken and Jen. Last year we went to Jekyll Island in Georgia with them and Preston was in my belly. This year we get to bring Preston along and they will be bringing along their 4 month old Tyler. We are so excited to see them again. We are sharing a Grand Suite with them in the Dells. Can't wait to post pictures of our fun when we get back.
