Sweet kisses

Preston loves to give Audrey kisses. I only hope that this continues. He is a little jealous of his old crib now that it is pink though. He actually asked to sleep in it last night but that only lasted about 3 minutes and then he wanted out to sleep in his toddler bed.

The last of basement pics

Ok, so I know I have posted a lot of basement pictures but this is it! We are completly done decorating and the carpet is in the bedrooms. We are loving it!!! It is like a home away from home downstairs. Preston loves it down here too. There is so many new things for him to look at. FYI, all of the decorations in the family room are from Craig when he was in the Navy. Now all we need is company:) Actually Craig's brother and his family are coming the 1st-8th and our friends Ken and Jen and their 1 year old are coming the 7th-9th. We are open for more too so just let us know:)

Trim complete

Craig finished up the trim last night. He had a couple of friends get him started and then he took off from there. I have to say there is nothing this guy can't do. I am so blessed with a multi talented husband. He even stayed up till 3am to clean up our basement and put it all back together. This is a picture of our completed family room (minus the fireplace) complete with Bamboo shades to tie in our African theme. Now we just have to wait for the carpet guy to get back from vacation and our 2 bedrooms downstairs will be complete as well.

Pool fun

Today we went to the pool for the first time for the year. We went with a friend of mine and her 2 boys. Preston was a ball of energy and did not want to leave. He fell asleep in the car before we even got down the road.

Eric and Rachel

We met our friends half way on Monday to hang out. Rachel and I are 13 days apart in our pregnancies. She is having a boy! Eric enjoyed having Preston ride on his back. We had a picnic lunch, walked along the water and went out for coffee. The guys later went to Home Depot while Rachel and I caught up on pregnancies.

Watch me throw this ball!

Preston has become a very good pitcher! He has to play outside every day or he lets me know about it. I have to say it is helping me get a nice tan though. Tomorrow we might go to the pool:)
New words this week: Airplane, chocolate, mint, cool and why. Among the others he is now copying that we say!

Big boy bed

Over the last couple of weeks Preston has been not wanting to sleep in his crib and would wake several times screaming. I decided to give him to option every night this last week of whether he wanted to sleep in his crib or big boy bed. To my surprise he has been choosing his big boy bed every time as well as for naps. We had them both in the same room to help with the future adjustment of transitioning after Audrey is born. I guess there will be no transitioning now as he has already decided what he wants:) He is growing by leaps and bonds and is now mimicking almost everything was say. Not to mention he has been letting me know when he is pooping and peeing and goes and sits on his potty chair but would rather go in his pants while sitting on the chair.

Church softball team

Our church started a mens softball team this summer and they play the area churches on Monday nights. Tonight was the first game that was early enough for us to go to. It was at 7 and normally they have been at 8 or 9 so Preston and I got to go finally. Preston was so proud of his dad and kept yelling "Hi Dad" every time he saw him and he tried to get through a hole in the fence to show him a rock he found. My dad plays too and aren't they cute with their sideways hats:)

Trim, doors and more doors and trim

This is what Craig has been busy with latley. Staining our doors and trim for the completion of our basement. My Grandpa was so kind to let Craig use his professional sprayer to help the job be easier. If you can say easy though, he had to stain it all and then spray on the varnish, sand it, then spray it all again with varnish. It took him about 4 days to complete. Didn't he do an amazing job!! The trim will start to be put in this week! Pictures to follow:)

25 weeks pregnant

Theres no hiding my belly now..................this baby is growing! I thought I would update you all on how my pregnancy is going. It is going GREAT!! Sometimes I dont even feel pregnant. My belly doesnt feel stretched like it did with Preston and I am guessing thats because this is my second. I have never felt better..................honestly. She is a mover and rarely ever stops. I love that the most except when she kicks my bladder or my bowels. Very weird feeling. I have gained a whopping 22 pounds already!!! Yikes. My total with Preston was 40 but I am not sure I will get quite up to that this time.
