Here are some updates on what we have been doing lately..............
Preston: mastering his animal sounds, is learning some sign language, loves to run around downstairs in our basement, points to specific things in books that we have him find.
Craig: has finished drywalling, mudding/taping, painting, and wiring our basement (we only have trim, doors and carpet left to do)
Shelley (me): thanking the Lord for no bleeding during this pregnancy for almost 3 weeks now, excited for my ultrasound on April 11th to find out if the placenta moved and the gender of the baby:)
God has been so good to us!

Placenta Previa
My OB doctor looked at my ultrasound from my ER visit and it looks like I might have a condition called Placenta Previa. In short it is a condition where the placenta is located low in the uterus. It parlty or completely covers the opening of the cervix. It poses a danger to the mother and baby because the risk of excessive bleeding before of during pregnancy. It occurs one in 200 pregnancies. My risk is up because of the scarring from my C-section with Preston.
My placenta is lying low as of right now but with me being early in my pregnancy it could still move into the right place. They wont know for sure until my ultrasound on the 11th of April. If I do have this, my pregnancy just got very risky! God knows, and everything is continueing to look great with the baby as I had a doctors appointment today so we are just trusting the placenta will move into the correct spot. Thanks everyone for your prayers!

My ER visit
Monday night I started to have some bleeding that into the night turned into more heavier bleeding and I knew it was time to go in. Craig was working the night shift but was able to come down for a little bit since he was only a couple floors away. My parents met me at the enterance of the ER and my mom took Preston while my dad parked my car. They had already checked me in so I got right in. They did an exam and everything looked good. Then they did an ultrasound and we got to see how much the baby has grown. He/She was flipping around and kept putting its hands to its mouth. The heart beat was great and the baby looked great. Everything else check out fine so they are uncertain why the heavy bleeding. All they can say is that everything looks great but that something could still happen. Not the news you want to hear for sure. Its hard to understand why this is happening now that I am entering the second trimester but it just proves that things are out of the doctors hands and mine and are in the Lords.
