Swimming

I bought Preston a baby swimming pool a couple of weeks ago and today we were finally able to use it. The weather is nearing 90. He really enjoyed himself and even pooped in the pool. Thankfully he had on a diaper so its all good. Don't mind the date on the picture. We need to fix it.

Sand box

Grandma K came over today and gave Preston a Lady bug sandbox. This is the first time he has ever felt sand between his toes. He really likes it a lot. We have to watch him in it though because he wants to eat the sand. Grandma K always has such great ideas and is very giving. He will enjoy this with all the beautiful weather we have been blessed with.

On top of the world

Preston is enjoying being up high. He is getting to the point where you can do so many things with him. I am loving every minute of it.

Uncle Kevin

Uncle Kevin, Ryan and Emma all came over the other night and here is Kevin playing with Preston before he had to go to bed. Preston has a lot of fun with Uncle Kevin as you can see.

Getting ready to crawl??

Everyday I work on his crawling skills. As you can see I don't think it will be very long until he is cruising around the house. Part of me can't wait and the other part of me wants him to stay little so I can always hold him.

Maddie loves to lick his ears when he is on the floor. Preston isn't sure what to think of it.

Fishing with Daddy

Yesterday was Preston's very first fishing adventure with his Daddy. We spent 2 hours fishing with out any fish and then just as we were packing up Craig caught a sucker fish. Preston was laughing at the fish as it was trying to get away. There will be many more fishing days to come so stay tuned.

Nicole came to visit

A friend of mine and former co-worker came out to visit last week. Sorry so late for posting this. We had fun looking through her pictures from her recent trip to Florida. Preston knocked them down to the floor. I guess he thought it was a game. We had a fun time and had spagette for dinner.

Soooooooooooo big

This little guy is getting so big. I was getting his breakfast ready this morning and looked over at him and couldn't believe my eyes. He seems to have grown overnight. Our little Buster isn't so little anymore. Sigh........................................

Get-together

Yesterday we had a get-together with nearly 45 of my side of the family. Grandma and Grandpa correct me if I am wrong but weren't there about 10 or 15 that weren't able to come? We had a lot of fun visiting with everyone again and seeing how much all the babies have grown. Preston is in the orange and is 5 1/2 months, Gavin is in the gray and is 4 1/2 months, and Andrew is is in the red stripes and is 1 1/2 months old.

Grandma and Grandpa have been through a lot lately with Grandma's news of having cancer and Grandpa was just in the hospital as well. Grandpa is better now and is on medication. Please continue to pray for Grandma as she will be going through treatment in the next week. We love you............

Preston's new pacifier

After much persistance. Preston is finally able to get his big toe in his mouth. He really loves the taste as you can see.

Preston and Connor

Heather , John and Connor came over for a cook-out tonight. Preston is just a little bigger than Connor but not by much. Connor being 2 months younger is catching up to Preston fast. They had a lot of fun together and Connor liked all of Preston's toys. Isn't it cute how they both are eating their hands.

Daddy thinks I need a brother or sister soon. Mommy thinks I am all she needs.............at least for now.

Fun on the deck

When it is so nice out, we can't bear to be inside, so here we are again having fun in the sun. Everytime Preston heard a bird chirp nearby he spun around in his bouncer to try to find it. I was eating a freezie and he had to have some as well. Here he is sucking his fingers to get more of the taste of it.

Walk outside

It was so nice out yesterday that when Daddy got home from work we went for a walk outside before dinner. We took Maddie with and Preston really enjoyed watching her run in front of him and I also picked up a spin wheel which was Grandma K's idea. I only wish we had more beautiful days like this to enjoy outdoors.

Bath time in the sink

We got the idea from Keith and Nicci about putting the bathtub in the kitchen sink. It works a whole lot better and it is much better on you neck and back. He really enjoyed the change in atmostphere as well.

Spitting food

Preston figured out on Sunday that he can spit now. Ever since then he has been doing it. He seems to have the most fun when there is food in his mouth. I thought he was messy before. You should see both of us after dinner time.

Preston's Great Grandpa J

My Grandpa, Preston's Great Grandpa, came down for Easter. This is the first time Preston got to meet him. They bonded right away. My Grandma passed away just 2 weeks before Preston was born.

My Grandpa was just diagnosed with Prostate cancer. If you believe that God answers prayers, please say a prayer for him.

P.S. Preston's Great Grandma B was also diagnosed with Colon Cancer and needs your prayers.

Ducky Bathrobe

Preston was having fun goofing off in his little ducky bathrobe after his bath the other night and I just had to get pictures of him. He is getting to be so much fun these days.

Easter Presents

Grandma and Grandpa K. came over last night and gave Preston his Easter presents. He got an Easter basket filled with Baby food and a little wagon with Easter eggs and an adorable quacking duck puppet. One of the baby foods he got was prunes. He hadn't tried them yet so he had them this morning along with his cereal and he really enjoyed them. Thank you so much for all your love and for the delicious French silk pie we all got to enjoy.

Ashley and Zackery

My uncle David and cousin Ryan finished framing in our basement yesterday and Ashley and Zackery came to visit with me and Preston. Preston didn't sleep much due to the noise so Ashley and I had to take turns keeping him occupied. He cried whenever the noise was too loud. We had fun spending time with them.

Jonny Jump Up

This is Preston's first time in the Jonny Jump Up. So far he seems to really like it. He gets to look all around and Maddie is enjoying him in it as well. She gave him a kiss. Maddie spun Preston around in it by his legs. It was really cute but I made her stop because he looked a little sick.

Like our un-finished basement? This Friday we are having my uncle finish framing it in and then little by little we will have it finished. We look forward to being able to have people stay over when it is complete. We are hoping to have it all done in a year, to a year and a half.
