Audrey walking and ears peirced

Yes, Audrey is walking and yes, you read it right, she got her ears pierced.
The walking thing is so much fun, she gets so excited and claps for her self.
As far as the ear piercing, well, we talked about it for awhile and I just went ahead and got them pierced today. She did really well and doesn't even know she got it done. I think she looks so cute in them and it makes her look more girly with her short hair.

Grandpa Koehler

Grandpa Koehler came over the other night for dinner. He brought steaks out and we enjoyed Caprese salad and fried potatoes and smores over the fire. We enjoyed having you out along with Kevin and Angie. Grandma needs to come over after she gets back from vacation:)

Fighting swords

This is Preston and Audrey's new fun thing to do lately. They like to fight with swords. Audrey even knows how to make the same sounds that Preston makes while fighting. So very fun to watch.

Me and the kiddo's

Not much to say with these pictures other than I love being a mom. Yes, I get stressed, want to pull my hair out, scream, run away, and whatever else. All in all though, being a mom is the greatest thing in the world. It makes me so sad to think that in 2 years Preston will be in kidergarten and Audrey will be Preston's age. I want them to stay young forever.

The big Northern

Last night Craig, Preston and I went canoeing while my sister watched Audrey. We had so much fun watching Craig reel in the Northern. One jumped right by our canoe, which was really scrary.......I thought we were going to tip. Preston was in such shock he couldn't even say anything.
The bottom pictures are of the first one he caught, and the top pictures are of the bigger one. There is an even bigger one than those 2 out there that we saw but that one is yet to be caught.

My sweet little Preston

I haven't posted pictures of Preston in awhile but that is because he is always running around I can't get him to slow down quick enough for pictures.
Here is some fun facts about him:

~Loves to share with Audrey (most of the time anyways)
~Still a big time cuddler
~Loves to go fishing with Daddy

~Rides his big boy bike all over the place (this was Craig's bike as a kid)

~Still eats anything and everything. Favorite probally is still black beans, but also loves tomatoes.
~Has been dressing and undressing himself for several months
~Sweetest little boy you'll ever meet!!!!

Audrey, the busy little bee

Well, here is my little 1 year old being her busy self. I seriously can't get anything done anymore. She doesn't ever stop! She climbs on everything, gets into everything and is so quiet about it too!
Some fun facts:
~Talks all the time. She is now up to about 15 words.
~Walks around the whole house while holding on to the wall........etc.
~Hates wearing clothes and gets her shirts off now.
~Helps me empty the bottom rack of dishes in the dishwasher.....don't worry though I take out the heavy stuff and breakables first. I tell her "thank you" after each piece and if I don't,she makes sure to say "thank you".
~Is learning her facial features. And sometimes gets all of them right when asked. Her favorite is her eyes. She pokes at them and says "Eye, Eye"

Audrey is 1 today

My baby girl turned one today. We had her party a few weeks ago so today we just had some fun having a picnic lunch in the park, went out to eat, went to a candy shop downtown, and went for a walk.
Some fun facts about her are:
~has 13 teeth (4 of which are molars)
~talks none stop (new words this week are:thank you and balloon)
~has curls:)
~walks all over with her walker
~loves to sing
~favorite movie "mommy and me"
~loves babies and puppies
~very social (she loves to get peoples attention and says "hi" to everyone she sees)
~loves to give kisses, especially to daddy
