Want to impress your husband, guests or just treat yourself? I made these Cinnamon Rolls this morning and wanted to share the recipe with all of my readers. They were delicious:) Enjoy!
Ingredients:
2 cups flour
1 TBS baking powder
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp baking soda
3/4 cup buttermilk
8 TBS (1 stick) butter, softened
3/4 cup sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
1. Combine flour, baking powder, salt, and baking soda in a med. bowl and mix well. Stir in veg. oil. Add buttermilk and stir just until blended.
2. Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface until smooth. Roll dough into a 15x8 in. rectangle.
3. Preheat the oven to 400. Grease a 9 in. round baking pan.
4. Spread butter over the dough. Combine sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl and mix well. Sprinkle over butter. Roll up rectangle, jelly roll fashion, starting from one long side. Pinch seam to seal.
5. Cute the roll into 1 1/2 in. slices. Arrange the slices, cut side up, in prepared baking pan. Bake until lightly browned, about 15 to 20 min. Remove from oven. Serve hot.
Seriously these couldnt be any easier.
The picture of Preston is what his new thing is lately. He puts his hand out all the time. Even when he isn't in his highchair:)
