Sharing a cup of Tea

Audrey got this adorable Tea set for her birthday in September, and Preston and her have enjoyed countless amounts of Tea time.

Grandpa combing Audrey's hair

The other night my parents came over and Audrey, who adores my dad got her hair combed. She was drifting into la la land! My dad inbetween jobs right now has been able to spend much quality time with the kids as of late and has watched them on his own. The kids sure enjoy their time with him. Audrey will cry when he leaves and loves to rub his arm. She calls him "Pappa".

Craig and Preston

Craig and Preston building their first snowman of the year. Craig is such a wonderful dad. Preston sure is spoiled by all the time with his dad. Today Craig pulled Preston in a sled behind his bike, made snow angels, built a snowman, and played on the swingset with Preston. All before leaving for a weekend of 12 hour night shift.

Audrey singing the song from" Barney"

Audrey loves to sing and one of her favorite songs is "I love you, you love me" from Barney. She sings "I love me" instead.

My little lady

So Audrey all of a sudden started to talk up a storm. She has been saying words for quite a few months now but it is like it just took off recently. Here are some of latest and greatest.
~I pooped (she always tells us when she poops and she trys to take her pants off)
~Nite Nite
~A B (for Abc's)
~Jump
~Kick
~Baby
~Papa, for Grandpa
~Puppy
~Says 2 when you say 1
~Bye
~Hello
~Num Num for a treat
~Ick
Just to name a few! This age is a lot of fun but she is very strong willed and will yell, pull hair and throws things if she doesn't get her way. I wonder if I was like that at her age? She steals my heart though with her constant hugs and kisses.

Thank You All!!!!

Thank you to our family for making Christmas special. The kids are busy playing with all their new toys. They are defintly spoiled by everyone.

Christmas 2009

Christmas gets more fun every year as the kids learn to appreciate it more. Sunday started out our Christmas at my parents house with yes, 13 grand kids, it's crazy that the children out number the parents. We forgot our camera but the boy cousins enjoyed playing with their new light sabers while the girls enjoyed their new dolls, singing puppy and listening to Denea play her new guitar. The night also included sledding and snow ball fights. Love you Mom and Dad. Thanks for everything.
Next was our Christmas as the 4 of us. We enjoyed a mid morning brunch(which I prepared)opening presents and in the evening dressed up for a night at Fanny Hill dinner theater for a fun night of Frosty the snow man, Rudolph the Red nose Reindeer and Santa, complete with a show for kids.
Christmas Eve was spent at the Koehlers, the adults searched for hidden snow flakes in the deep snow while freezing and wondering how we were going to find them as it had just snowed and was now raining. We found 11 of 30 but it took us 45 min. The kids enjoyed a visit from Santa and we read stories of Christmas and had props to illustrate. The night ended with Bingo and the kids were wired as can be. Love you Mom and Dad.
