Christmas 2009

Christmas gets more fun every year as the kids learn to appreciate it more. Sunday started out our Christmas at my parents house with yes, 13 grand kids, it's crazy that the children out number the parents. We forgot our camera but the boy cousins enjoyed playing with their new light sabers while the girls enjoyed their new dolls, singing puppy and listening to Denea play her new guitar. The night also included sledding and snow ball fights. Love you Mom and Dad. Thanks for everything.
Next was our Christmas as the 4 of us. We enjoyed a mid morning brunch(which I prepared)opening presents and in the evening dressed up for a night at Fanny Hill dinner theater for a fun night of Frosty the snow man, Rudolph the Red nose Reindeer and Santa, complete with a show for kids.
Christmas Eve was spent at the Koehlers, the adults searched for hidden snow flakes in the deep snow while freezing and wondering how we were going to find them as it had just snowed and was now raining. We found 11 of 30 but it took us 45 min. The kids enjoyed a visit from Santa and we read stories of Christmas and had props to illustrate. The night ended with Bingo and the kids were wired as can be. Love you Mom and Dad.
