Our 4 year Anniversary

On the 22nd Craig and I celebrated our 4 year Anniversary. Craig had to work and Preston was sick with the flu so we both took care of sick ones for the day. Craig brought home pizza since we couldnt go out with Preston being sick and brought me these beautiful flowers. I got him one of those singing cards and a box of hand picked chocolates from a chocolate shoppe downtown. We ended the night with a movie and Preston sleeping in the middle of us. Preston was so sick that I wanted to catch the throw up myself instead of letting the floor or his crib catch it.

I am so blessed to have such a wonderful husband. He is the love of my life and I can't believe we are parents of one and one on the way. Life couldn't be any better for us.

Grandma and Grandpa pics

Yesterday we went to the cities and visited my Grandparents. My Grandma as you well may know has cancer. Preston gave them lots of hugs and kisses and enjoyed getting snacks from Grandma. Of course Preston had to have Grandpa read "Go, Dog, Go. We love you guys!

Preston and Maddie

Preston got a book from Shanna when we visited her called "Go, Dog, Go" and Preston can't seem to put it down. He loves it and talks about the things in the book. Yesterday morning I saw him reading to Maddie.

Lincoln park zoo pics

We had a lot of fun at the zoo in Lincoln park. I don't know if Preston was too thrilled with the animals this time, he just wanted to walk around and explore everything on his own. I had a little belly pain from the long walk so Craig pushed me and Preston in the stroller for a little while. What a sight that was:) I got a lot of dirty looks from passerbys. Adam was so sweet to pick us up in the car so we didnt have to walk all the way back.

Craig took an awsome picture of a zebra which he enlarged and framed for me for Mother's Day to put in our zebra bathroom downstairs!

Visit to Chicago

This past weekend we traveled to Chicago to visit my best friend Shanna from college. It was so great to see her again as we typically only see each other once a year. It was just like old times as we all hung out. We went to fun places to eat,like an awsome cupcake shop and the famous Cheesecake factory resterant, we went downtown Chicago and the Lincoln park zoo, and enjoyed talking about years past as well as whats new in our lives. Preston loved her dog Bailey and warmed up right away. He slept most of the way down and all the way back which is great cuz it is a 5 hour drive. Can't wait to see you again Shanna.............................

Wisconsin weather-take 2

So this is what we woke up to this morning!!! They didnt predict this AT All!!!! Here we are just days away from May and it is 30 degrees and snowy. We question ourselves yet again............why do we live here?! Preston just stared outside and kept saying "Snow snow snow! I think he was just as shocked as we are!

McDonalds playplace

Tonight we went to McDonald's and shared a Milkshake and Preston got to enjoy the play place. He couldn't climb up to the big slides by himself so being the Great Mom that I am:).........I took him up there. I began to get claustrophobic and wanted to get down but Preston was determined to get to the slides. We finally made it to the top and down the slides. Boy was I sure thankful he didn't ask to go again.
