Updates

Ok, so I admit, it is very hard to keep up on the whole blogging thing with 2 kids now but bare with me.

Audrey is 5 weeks old now and at her 4 week checkup she was 10lbs and has grown over a inch and a half. Needless to say she is growing like a weed. She still only wakes up once a night to eat (it has been like this since birth). I am enjoying the sleep:)

Preston is nearing 2 next month, and can say 3 word sentences and can count to 7 all on his own.

Craig went back to work yesterday and we are all adjusting to the change as he has been off these last 5 weeks.

Me? Well I am trying to lose the last 13 pounds put on from the pregnancy and am enjoying motherhood at its fullest.

Shanna's visit

My best friend Shanna came to visit last week and it was so fun to hang out with her. We usually get to see each other only once a year, although this year it was twice. It was a little crazy going out places with a toddler and a newborn but we still had lots of fun. Shanna is the sweetest friend anyone could ever have.

Wherever she is.......................

Wherever Audrey is, usually there is Preston.

4 wheeler

A few days ago we went to our friends Apple Orchard and of course got some apples, but Craig also took Preston 4 wheeling. We just might have to get one some day.

Sleepy baby

I have to say Audrey has been a VERY good baby. She eats every 3 hours and at night she has only been waking up once, sometimes twice a night. She rarely every cries either. She is adjusting well to the loud house we have, created by her big brother Preston. I love being a mom of two. I didn't realize how much I missed having a baby.

So big and so little

Preston seemed to have grown while I was in the hospital. There isn't anything he can't say. He is such a little man. He is showing off his new headphones for the Blue Angels airshow tomorrow.

Audrey loves tummy time and enjoyed Preston and our dog Maddie saying hello to her while she was on the floor.

My babies

Preston loves Audrey and it was evident from the first time they met. He ran into the room saying "Audrey" and jumped right up on the hospital bed looked her in the eye and said "Hi". He gave her tons of kisses and looked at me, smiled, and started to play with my hair.

Things haven't changed since we have been home. He wants to be around her all the time and

and loves to sit by her when she is eating. He isn't even phased by her crying in the middle of the night. Could it really be all this easy!!!!!
